Baan Deau is located in the north-east of Thailand, in the province of Nongkhai.

Volunteering in Baan Deua is an option for volunteers who like to experience a rural Thai village. You will stay with a Thai family in their house.

Minimum stay is 4 weeks.

The Volunteer opportunity in Baan Deua is mainly teaching English at a Secondary school in cooperation with the Thai English teacher, following the curriculum. Own ideas to teach the subject are welcome.

Additinally the school would like the volunteer to take part in other school activities like the student club etc. to maximise the exposure of the students to English language. Volunteers with computer knowledge may also help teaching computer classes.

Baan Deua school has a computer room with 26 computers. Internet access available.

In the library there are 4 more computers, and a volunteer could work on small project with a group of students here.

Volunteers in Baan Deua are welcome to return to Nongkhai for the weekend.
