International travel is inherently risky. By becoming a volunteer, you acknowledge and accept these risks and those associated with living and working in developing countries. As a volunteer you must appreciate and understand that some of these activities may be outside of your personal insurance coverage. Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange is not liable (to the maximum extent of the law) for any loss or harm you may suffer, including but not limited to loss caused by delay, bodily injury or death, damage to or loss of property, war or terrorism.

Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange is not liable for any errors or mistakes made by partner organizations. All disputes are governed by the law of Thailand.
Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange reserves the right to use feedback from volunteers and photos showing volunteers for website or printed material.
Change of placement - Sometimes schools and orphanages do not require a volunteer as previously agreed. In this case Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange will offer me a similar placement.
Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange cannot lend money to volunteers.
Volunteers agree to abide by Thai laws and to follow the rules of schools and orphanages (e.g. do not smoke at schools or orphanages).
Volunteers take notice, that they are not supposed to express a political opinion about their host country neither promote any religious or other ideological views.
The application fee is 200 €. This application fee is part of the volunteer fee which is depending on your chosen period of stay. The application fee is non refundable. This is because Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange needs to make financial commitments on your behalf prior to the placement start date. For this reason unfortunately we can make no exceptions.
The placement fee minus the application fee is refundable if Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange is cancelling your placement prior to your arrival for reasons Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange can be held responsible for.
All refunds will be made less the costs incurred in processing the refund such as bank charges.
The placement fee is due upon arrival at the latest. The refund of placement fee or parts thereof as far as not caused by Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange is subject to individual decision made by Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange based on the cause of request and under Thai law.
All requests for application fee refunds must be in the form of a written letter to Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange in Thailand with your signature at the bottom. We can not accept phone calls or email. You will be notified by Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange upon receipt of your application for a refund within 48 hours. Should you not be emailed in regards to your request the assumption should be made that the request form was not received. Thai-Experience / Mundo Exchange is not responsible for mail that is not received.
