Volunteer work and life

Repairing computers - many of the schools have computers now. Not the latest models, most still run on Windows 98, but it is enough to learn the basics. Some of them are given by a government program, others are private donations. But the schools lack money for spare parts or repair jobs, and have no qualified staff to do repairs themselves.

Beside teaching computer skills, Thai-Experience.org volunteers help with hard- and software problems, local area network or Internet connection installation and maintenance.
