Yesterday Thailand celebrated Children’s Day and our volunteers joined the orphanage’s team to make it fun for every child attending. While Ebi helped getting the ice cream out to all the kids eagerly waiting for their treat, Doris played games and helped them to solve simple puzzles. It was a huge fair with booths from every organization working in the area, all providing some games or snacks for the kids.

Every second Sunday in January Thai people celebrate this special day for the children to provide them with fun and remind themselves how valuable children are for their lives and the future of all people. We could not agree more and it was fun being part of it. Hundred’s of kids came. And “our” kids from the orphanage enjoyed it even more to have someone to go around the fair with them and help them win prizes.
