Homestay in a rural Thai village

Baan Nong Wean is located in the north-east of Thailand, in the province of Nongkhai.

Volunteering in Baan Nong Wean is an option for volunteers who like to experience a rural Thai village. You will stay with a Thai family in their house.

Minimum stay is 4 weeks.

The Volunteer opportunity in Baan Nong Wean is mainly teaching English at a Secondary school in cooperation with the Thai English teacher, following the curriculum. Own ideas to teach the subject are welcome.

The teachers at this school are also eager to learn better English and volunteers will teach the teachers a few hours a week.

The school is in old wooden buildings and needs repair.

Some old computers are available but no internet connection.

Volunteers in Baan Nong Wean are welcome to return to Nongkhai for the weekend.
