Volunteering in Guanwan is a good option for volunteers who like to experience a Thai village during day time while having all the advantages of a provincial capital during evenings or weekends.

Possible volunteer placements in Guanwan include

* teaching English at a Secondary school,
* teaching English at a preschool / kindergarten, or
* teaching English at a Buddhist temple, or
* teaching Computers at a Secondary school.

Volunteers can either stay in one of our volunteer houses in the center of town or we can help booking a guesthouse or hotel.

Guanwan is a few kilometers out of Nongkhai, connected by bus. Some volunteers prefered to ride their bicycle to school.
