Your qualities - What volunteers should have

Patience - Thailand is different. Things are done differently and it might sometimes even seem wrong to you. Keep in mind that you are a guest and that when you come here to make a change, you also change yourself. It can be frustrating and frightening at times or pure joy and happiness at others. The culture shock will hit you sooner or later. We are here to assist and help you through rougher times making your Thai Experience a real good one.

Initiative - We offer you opportunities. The projects depend on your input and ideas. It is your chance to develop yourself and your environment.

Open mind - For Thai people and other volunteers. It is your chance to learn from each other and find out more about yourself.

Positive attitude - Deal with the challenges that you meet along the way.

Respect - for Thai people, their religious beliefs and traditional values and for other volunteers. Dress accordingly and do not disrespect the Thai king or members of his family and monks. The Thai way of life probably is different from what you are used to.
