Many international volunteers like you try teaching English the first time while they volunteer. Here is a collection of teaching English material available online for our international volunteers in Thailand. You might be a native speaker but lack ideas how to teach English effectivly and with fun or you just run out of idea how to teach English.
Teaching English as a second language can be a lot of fun, and maybe even you discover something new. Some international volunteers joined Thai-Experience to test themselves if they really want to become teachers, others used it as a chance to get a start as TEFL teacher in Thailand. Both is possible and we encourage you to try it out first and see if you really like this very different country.

It is interested in exploring issues related to L2 reading, L2 literacy in a broader sense, and other issues related to second language learning and teaching.
All text have a core vocabulary of 1500 words. The texts have short, simple sentences containing only one idea, using active voice and no idioms.
